Join us for a spooktacular afternoon of Halloween fun! 🎉
On Sunday, October 27, from 3-5 PM, bring your family and friends to Asbury UMC for our Trick or Treat: Fun & Games event.

There will be something for everyone, including:
✨ Trunk or Treat – Dress up in your best costume and collect candy!
✨ Big Games – Play corn hole, Jenga, and other fun games.
✨ Craft Station – Make spooky and fun Halloween crafts!
✨ Balloon Twister – Get a FREE balloon creation from our talented balloon artist.
✨ Snacks – Help us raise money for a new playground structure and purchase delicious snacks!

🎃🍬 This event is family-friendly and open to all ages. We’re so excited to see all the creative and spooky costumes but don’t worry if dressing up isn’t your thing—come as you are and join the fun either way! 😄

At Asbury United Methodist Church, we believe in providing a loving, accepting, caring, and safe environment for children and their families to be centered in Jesus Christ as we connect to the presence of God, grow in our faith, celebrate community, and serve others with love.

In addition to our Sunday worship opportunities, we have events all throughout the school year: Cherub Choir and Rainbow Choir, Kindness Matters Camp, Music Camp, family service projects, liturgical events like Easter and Advent, movie nights, SummerFest and so much more!

Our nursery is a place where children ages 0 to 4 learn about God through play in a loving and caring environment during our 10 a.m. worship service. The nursery includes a preschool class option.

Our caring nursery staff are fully COVID-19 vaccinated and are certified in CPR and First Aid. We use an electronic notification system to notify a parent or guardian if staff determines it is necessary for the well-being of the child.

Children (K - 5th grade) are welcome to come down in front to sit on carpet squares or in the front pews for the Children's Moment to hear a message and say a prayer during worship.

After the Children's Moment, the children are welcome to rejoin their adults in the pews or go to Sunday School. If going to Sunday School, teachers will meet the children  at the back of the sanctuary to walk together to Room 6. After worship service we will meet families in the courtyard or in Fellowship Hall.

If you have an extra wiggly child, we have a comfort room with sound, a large window, a couch, and play items, in the back of the sanctuary you are welcome to use at anytime.

We also have activity baskets available for people of all ages to enjoy during service!
