Asbury Players

Asbury Players Community Theater is one of Livermore's local community theater groups, made up of a group of amateur performers. The group has been delighting local audiences with productions of all kinds since 1991.

Performances take place at Asbury United Methodist at

Tell Me More!

Asbury Players presents a comedy play every March, and a variety show every October.

Past shows include old favorites, including "Arsenic and Old Lace," "Harvey," "12 Angry Jurors," "You Can't Take It With You," and "The Curious Savage," as well as modern discoveries like "Rumors," "Play On!," "Exit the Body," and "Dixie Swim Club;" and most recently presented "Done to Death," a mash-up of every genre of murder mysteries.

Asbury Players welcomes new members to join us in producing the finest live theater you can find. If you're interested in acting or directing, or in helping backstage with sets, costumes, publicity and production, come join us for the exhilaration of putting on a show!

Not Just a Theatre Group

In addition to entertaining our fans, Asbury Players helps support local and international non-profit agencies through grants funded by APPLAUSE (Asbury Players Philanthropic League for Assistance to Useful Service Efforts). Proceeds from our ticket sales (after expenses) and from the generosity of our audiences provide funds for the causes our players support.

If your Useful Service Effort can use financial Assistance, help Asbury Players put on a show and you'll be eligible to apply for an APPLAUSE grant, too.
