Stephen Ministers

New training for Stephen Ministry candidates begins each fall. As a certified Stephen Minister, similar to those across the country in multiple congregations, you would be assigned to a member of our congregation who is undergoing a stressful period in his/her life and has asked for someone to talk to. Assignments are made one on one, with one assignment at a time, and are same-gender matched. The care-giver/care-receiver team meets once per week for about an hour. Stephen Ministers also take turns lending an ear after services on Sunday. These Stephen Ministers are the folks listed in the bulletin for after-services attention.
